Glory of the Minitel

Have you heard about the minitel?

It's was a revolutionary french device used between 1980 and 2012. Every french person above 25 knows the minitel since every home had one. It was terminal used to connect to network services before internet even existed. It had the particularity to combine a computer with a router so you just had to plug it to the telephone wall plug and pays the extra telephone connection. It was like a limited version of internet but a lot of services were accessible : telephone directory, ordering online from catalogues, send messages, bank services...
Oh and the best part: it was free. Everybody could just request the device to their town.

This is a personal prop project: game ready asset. I imagined a version of the minitel that was found in an attic after being abandonned for 20 years.
